Kiehl’s Oil Eliminator Refreshing Shine Control Toner RRP$38.00As someone who suffers from oily skin, it was interesting to find that this was a common experience among other men. Also, as a dad who works, trying to find time in the morning to use products seemed an added stress and effort to the morning ritual in my household. When I was given the chance to test out Kiehl’s new Oil Eliminator products, I was a little sceptical how it would perform and how I would manage to fit it into my busy lifestyle. Well after using the new range I was more than impressed. With the whole process taking less than 5 minutes in the morning, and giving your face a great look and feel for the day, it was well worth sparing the time.
You start off with the “Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face Wash”, this is soap and sulphate free and is something you can use daily. I found you only needed a small amount and it gave a brilliant lather. The wash has crushed apricot seeds in it, which leaves you skin smooth and oil free.
After the facial wash you apply the “Refreshing Shine Control Toner”, I found this great in the morning to revitalise and
wake you up, as it has a vegetable-derived Capryloyl Glycine which gives you that fresh cooling feel on your face. This spray can be used anytime to reduce appearance of sweat and give you a refreshing clean look, perfect for before meetings and after long nights with the little ones.

After the toner you apply the “24-Hour Anti-Shine Moisturizer”, this is where the magic happens, well its science really. This moisturizer contains Aerolite TechnologyTM. , that sounds super fancy right? Well it really is, in fact it is the lightest solid mineral on earth, composed of 99.98% air by volume! Now I know what you’re thinking, how on earth is air going to help me deal with my oily skin? Well the Aerolite TechnologyTM Is able to absorb 4 times its weight in oil, disperses and vaporises sweat away from your skin, and due to its irregular surface it scatters light, giving your face an oil free matte look. This is combined with New Zealand sourced Totara wood extract which helps reduces the visibility of pores and skin imperfections. All this sounds pretty amazing, and it really is, I have been using it for 3 week now and have noticed my skin looks great and is considerably less oily.

Now looking at that you could think, “I don’t have time for all that, with juggling kids and work” well trust me, 5 minutes is all you need to do all 3. It’s well worth the effort, and if you also like me suffer from oily skin this is a great choice in product to fight it.
